Dr. Parvin Banu's working as an Associate Professor in the Dept of Anaesthesiology at Calcutta National Medical College. Since her childhood she always thought to do something for those who are in distress. As a staunch believer in woman empowerment, she knows if a girl child is properly educated about her rights & needs that would be the strongest foundation for the next move. Being a visionary, she is the main driving force behind PinkFlag Movement.

MD Physician with over 13 years of experience as an intensivist and is also the owner and chairperson of JD School. Aiming to make a major impact by beginning with small steps.

Shaheen, a mother turned social worker had her Master's in History. With the experience of running a full format funtional family she decided to share her care and love with the bigger family... our society. She handles PinkFlag's account as she runs her family with diligent and care.

Dr. Ismat Banu Chowdhury

Chief of Programmes (COP)

Dr Ismat B Chowdhury completed her MBBS in 1986 from Calcutta National Medical College. She has over 30 years of experience in Maternity care and Family medicine in India and also Saudi Arabia. Currently she is a medical officer at Kolkata Municipal Corporation where she deals in Preventive medicine. She heads the PinkFlag Foundation with her experience and ability to manage a diverse team.

Senior Project Management

Aditi Mondal, with 15 years of experience in the Medical Equipment industry, has been instrumental for various multinationals. With her strong on-ground presence and operational experience she heads project implementation for PinkFlag Foundation.  Since her college days, she was involved in social work for the distress, especially children and women.

Dr. Dipanwita Mukherjee

Chief Sociologist

Dr. Dipanwita Mukherjee is an Associate Professor and the Head of the Department of Sociology at Barasat College under West Bengal State University. She completed her PhD from University of Kalyani on “Women’s Labour Force Participation and Its Effect on Fertility : A Comparative Study”. Her area of study is Social Demography. Presently she is actively engaged with the UG Courses and Curriculum under the CBCS and the Examination system. She is also actively involved in UGBOS, Department of Sociology of West Bengal State University. Dr. Mukherjee acts as University Nominees in the Governing Body of different Colleges of North 24 Parganas.
